Intensive Schools – For Online Students

Students studying on-campus are not required to attend intensive schools. You will complete the same content in weekly on-campus classes.

If you are studying the Bachelor of Nursing in online mode, you will be required to attend compulsory intensive schools for some subjects.

  • Frequency:  This depends on your study load. If you are studying full-time, you will need to attend one (1) intensive school each session. If you are studying part-time, you should plan to attend at least one intensive school per year.
  • Duration:  3-4 days depending on the subject
  • Location: Bachelor of Nursing intensive schools are offered at Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga campuses. These locations vary from session to session. This means that not all subjects are offered at all campuses each session.

Due to external accreditation requirements all Bachelor of Nursing intensive schools are compulsory, and exemptions cannot be granted.
